Ecology and Economy
Ecological notes: Observed several times and in numbers on bark of Erythrina shade trees.Apparently not associated with Coccids or Aphids, but probably feeding on microfungi growing on exsuding sap.
Habitat: Cacao agroforestry system with diverse layer of planted and naturally grown shade trees. Sampled tree: Theobroma cacao.
